So, as some of you have seen over the past day or so, I've been having some problems streaming.
I've recently bought a new monitor (LG, 22 inch) and since then, my Macbook Pro 2013 has been cooking itself alive whenever I stream. I do have a cooling fan, and I close off any program I don't need open, but even then it still gets stupidly hot.
So I'm posting this journal to see if there's any advice anyone could have to try and solve this problem. I love to stream work not only for you guys to see, but to also keep myself focused while I work. So any advice would be great!
But yeah, other than the streaming I can still make art, but I gotta get use to the new size for drawing, you'd be surprised how much of a difference a new monitor makes for making art.

PC is Dead
Heyhey y'all, long time no see, lol I haven't made a journal here in a long time, since Twitter is a lot more user/social friendly, but I'm posting this to all my platforms for maximum reach. A few weeks ago my PC was on the fritz, the power supply was failing BIG TIME, and while I got it to work for a few more weeks, sadly it refuses to turn on now. So I'm going to have bite the bullet and build my own. I'm hoping to keep it around $1000-1500, but we'll see. Taking a Step Back
So, earlier this month on Twitter I promised to start getting a crack at commissions...and then I ended up in the hospital for a few days. Luckily, I've been out for about two weeks now, and am almost back to 100%, but that, and really these past 12 months, have not been kind to me. A bunch of life events really threw me on my ass, but ultimately I've been focusing too on things that should be the back-burner...like ABDL art. Look, I love drawing this, but it's been a few years now, and I can see that it's taken up too much of my life. I need to be able to focus on other stuff, like finding full-time work, establishing myself, and so on. So for the time being, I'll be taking a step back from producing any content. I still have some Patreon stuff to post, and stuff from the previous year that I'll release publicly, but I really do need to focus on other stuff first and foremost. I know a LOT of you have been begging/dying for commissions, but I just can't put time into those right
COMMISSIONED CLOSED
Yes, I'm closing commissions for the time being. Don't freak out, it's because I want to actually get them done, and reopen with new prices, I've noticed I've been using the same price sheet since 2019, and I REALLY need to update. That being said, right now there's at least 20+ comms I actually want to do. I won't be able to get to everyone's. It's nothing personal, I just don't have time to do everyone. So, if you DO NOT hear back from by the end of June regarding your commission, I'm not going to do it. If you submitted a commission in the past, and no longer wish to have to done, please reach out and let me know before I sit down and start doing it. In July, I plan to reopen my commission form with a new price sheet, so look out for that~! --34q

Have you tried keeping the macbook closed when using the monitor? It could be struggling to use two displays at the same time.
